So you've decided to try the pedal steel? Great! we need more players. You will find that there is much to learn, whether you are an experienced musician or a total beginner. Hopefully this site can help with that.
Credits
If you learn nothing else from this page, you must learn about the Steel Guitar Forum. It is a site devoted to all things steel guitar, including lap steel, resonator, and pedal steel. The archive is searchable and you can use it like a steel guitar encyclopedia. If you are going to pursue playing the pedal steel, I can't recommend it highly enough.
There are so many people who deserve credit for all the free steel guitar resources on the web, I can't possibly name them all. Of course the late Bobby Lee, the man who brought us the steelguitarforum web site, should be remembered. Then there are many people who made or make video lessons, such as Steve Benzian, Paul Sutherland, Mickey Adams, Aaron Marshall, Joe Barcus, Gilroy Hollister, Jonathan Gregg, Bill Bassett, the late Bobbe Seymour, Johnny Up, Josh Yenne, and Shane Frame among others.
Jesse Leite made a great Chord/Fretboard manual, and Kyle O'neal made an introduction to the nashville number system. Greg Cutshaw has built a very informative web site with many tab lessons with sound files, among other things and Richard Sinkler has a web site which features Mickey Adams videos organized by subject. Bill Sexton has created a cloud drive full of short beginner lessons and ideas and New Baptist Church of Marion IL made the Steeelchord program available on their web site. I am sure there are many more.

So whose site is this? It belongs to Dave Dube. Who is that? Nobody. Just a guy that likes pedal steel. A long time member of b0b's steel guitar forum. That's all. This site is not about him. It is about learning E9th pedal steel guitar.
As you see, there are no advertisements on this site, other than those for WIX, which provided this website at no cost. . There are no products for sale.
